Nappy Hair Beware. (Volume Dryer)

This is a pretty good dryer, it just doesnt have enough guts to dry my nappy hair to the root quickly without frizzing it out. I could see how it would be good for someone looking for volume, but I need to tame this mess, not puff it up. It is gentle, so I dont feel like im over drying or damaging my hair, so that's a plus, and it's super light weight, which i love, its just not the dream dryer I was hoping for.
Excellent - Worth the money!!

This hairdryer is excellent! For only $80 (as compared to the average price of $100 - $250+ for a decent hairdryer), this appliance works wonders. WIth my old Revlon blowdryer from CVS, my hair took 1+ hour to blow dry. WIth this, I've gotten it down to 35 minutes! Of course, I would love to try one of the super-expensive hair dryers, but for the money this hairdryer is awesome! I no longer need to straighten my hair - blow drying is quicker, easier, better looking, and much better for my hair. I still get split ends, but not half as bad as when I flat ironed every other day! I go to Safaar on Newbury Street in Boston to get my hair done, and I can honestly say that after a few weeks of getting used to blowdrying, my hair looks almost as good as when I go to the salon! I also love the four different heat settings on the dryer (cold, cool, warm hot) and the three speed settings. The buttons are in a somewhat awkward place but I had no trouble after the first day. The dryer is very quiet - I blow dry at 10:30 and no one asleep can hear it. I highly recommend this hairdryer!

i had been using a vidal sasson ionic dryer, which i was satisfied with for the most part. however i can definitely tell the difference in quality between the two. this dryer is very quiet, light weight, and works much quicker than the former. it is also really cute(not like that really matters haha), the color is great and the design is comfortable to handle. i absolutely love it. i also like all of the different settings: you can combine, cool, warm, and hot with low, medium, and high. also there is a cold button which works far better than any dryer i have previously used. after drying on a warmer setting, this locks in the volume or sets the curl. i highly recamend this product to anyone seeking a dryer that is of higher quality.
Don't Even Need to Flat Iron!

I have EXTREMELY curly hair which is very fine, but have A LOT of it! I think this is a great product, especially for the money. I have used a number of other dryers all with disappointment. This particular dryer straightens my hair without needing a flat iron follow-up. It keeps my hair shiny too, and I have color-treated hair (from light-brown to black), and that pure fact alone is impressive!

this hair dryer is amazing while it's working...dries hair fast, makes hair so silky, sometimes i don't even use an iron afer...but this dryer will not make it to 2 years, and even though it comes with a limited warranty, i have always moved and lost the info. to utilize it. if you don't care about it breaking then it's great. mine 2nd one (and last) blew up on me this morning and finally died right before an interview.
Great but suddenly broke after 18 months

I was really happy with this purchase. I even gifted to my sister when she used it and commented how much she liked it. However, out of the blue, the dryer started "aching" all over the place and the motor started to die. I have mid-length wavy hair. It did cut drying time to about 15-20 minutes. I used it 4-5 times a week.
I'm researching now, and I may purchase a new Sedu dryer.

This dryer broke after 9 months of use, and even though you have a warranty, you will still most likely end-up shelling out more cash.

It started out good, but quickly went downhill: the drying time almost doubled (from 30 minutes to 1 hour) because it no longer heated up as much as it did after I first purchased it, the motor became extremely loud (to the point where I thought it was going to explode), the nozzle flies off and the removable filter cap broke off! ( Don't waste your money on this one...I'm going back to my excellent Supersolano!

I bought this dryer and have been extremely happy with the results. My hair always comes out as if I just came out of the salon. Great buy!

I've heard a lot of comments that these ceramic dryers leave straight, fine hair limp and without body, but this was just not the case. My hair's never been fuller and the style generally lasts a day longer than with my old conventional dryer. Drying does seem to take a couple minutes longer than before though. But, it's lightweight and pretty easy to manipulate.

I had been using the Babyliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme for over 3 years and it finally died. Bought this one. Just as good, maybe a bit better. It does dry my hair much faster. Same smooth results. I have learned that if you are prone to frizziness there is no dryer that will completely eliminate that problem. That's all about the product. However, starting with a good hair dryer is half the battle. This is a great one. I swear by Babyliss. They say the dryer will last and it does. This one is warranteed for 5 years, about 1200 hours. Also, Folica is awesome to do business with, by the way.

I have used a Solano and an Elchim in the past and have been very happy with both of them for many years. I read the reviews on this blow dryer and it was also recommended to me by customer service after giving them a description of my hair and its texture. I have never been unhappier with a blow dryer. My hair comes out frizzy everytime. I tried using the medium temperature setting thinking the hi was too hot but I still got the same results. Since the beginning the nozzle has been loose and constantly falls off and then it is too hot to touch to put it back on. I am now back in the market for a new blow dryer. I always have a spare just in case my good blow dryer breaks. I have an inexpensive Conair which works 100 times better than the
Babyliss.

I first bought the BabylissPro Carrera 2 Ceramic Ionic Hair Dryer and had to return it because it was too heavy to hold and use. In exchange, I got the BaByliss PRO TT (Carrera 2) Tourmaline 3000 Dryer. This hairdryer is much lighter! It's powerful and dries my thick hair, quickly. I noticed that my hair is also much smoother! I highly recommend the Babyliss Pro TT 3000 for its quality, efficiency, and performance.
I love it.

So far I love it. This is the first non-drug store blow dryer I have used and I must say I am impressed. It dries my curly/wavy hair in less than half the time and it isn't nearly as frizzy. Before I always had to smooth my hair out with a flat iron, with the blow dryer I can get away with not straightening it too. My only complaint it that it didn't come with a diffuser as well as the concentrator nozzle.

I had been using a $200 elchim professional dryer for several years and purchased this as a replacement. This has been the best dryer I have ever used. It gives my frizzy, curly hair, a better than salon blowdry. Not only does it give great shine and silkiness but even in humid weather my hair stays straight and sleek. Last week I dropped it on the bathroom floor and it now makes a weird loud noise so I decided to try something different as this model is not available here in Montreal. I bought the Ted Gibson Professional Tourmaline at $275 but I will return it because it gave a very poor result (less shine, some frizz and many flyaways). I went online to see if I could find the same brand/model as my Bablyliss Pro TT Carerra 2 Tourmaline 3000 and found it here. I will replace it with the same model as soon as I return to the U.S..
