This tool performs up to 40% faster than many straightening irons available today. The extra-long plates are a great feature, plus the slim design is easy to handle and will eliminate hand fatigue. High heat levels up to 450 degrees, provide extraordinary straightening results. Nano Titanium is an exception conductor of heat. It maintains stability in ultra-high temperatures and emits negative ions in their most beneficial form for faster straightening, locking in the hair's own natural moisture. The BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium Straightener yields maximum far-infrared heat, penetrating the hair from within for gentle straightening without damaging your hair. A special Ryton housing resists high heat. Features:

I love mine I can straighten my hair in less than 1/2 the time of my old one on a much lower temp. I have fine hair, so it's pretty thin but actually pretty average. i have always used chi but decided to try babyliss because chi always burns out after about a year on me. after having the babyliss for a good year now, it still works great. i keep it on the lowest heat possible, yet my hair and especially my ends are completely damaged and my hair seems like is not even getting any longer anymore! its burning my ends off. so if you have fine hair like me, i suggest you try a ceramic plated iron, not metal :( I have used a Chi in the past and just kind of accepted that I would never be able to acheive that straight look. Curls and waves were ALWAYS in my future...until this straightner. It is true that you can damage your hair. I experienced some breakage but it was not the straightners fault. I purposely turned the heat up when I was quite satisfied with the setting I had it on before?? IDK thought I could get done quicker. Dialed it back a notch and make sure that I use a spray hair protector while straightening. This product is awesome and I will never by Chi again. I don't usually write reviews but seeing as to how popular this item is I just had to help my fellow healthy hair lovers with a buyers beware! This flat iron straighten hair really fast and easily of coarse that creates a convenience but after 1 use my ends felt a little dry and the second instant split ends! Mind you I only wash and style my hair every 5-8 days and the highest heat I use is 380. If it helps any I have thick curly hair. I used the BaByliss Pro (just purchased 11/09) a few times and it seemed to work OK the first few times (even at the highest temperature.) However, last week it fried my hair on the first swipe. I had my shoulders full of the cuttings. My hair now is about 1/4 as thick as before the frying. This is a piece of "you know what!"--Debbie in Napa Valley Read all 122 customer reviews ...
