I bought the set for m DD. She has wavy super thick hair. The rollers never seemed to really heat up,so her curls never really set.Also I think we needed more rollers then this set has.She has mid back length hair,super thick & there was'nt enough rollers to follow the no thicker or longer then the roller rule. The curls were'nt tight and fell out a few hours later. Using the same hair products and same size curling iron we can get curls that last a few days. This set was a huge disapointment.

This is a really nice set. Makes my hair look great and is very gentle too. I would say that if you are on the fence about purchasing this, don't hesitate.

These rollers heat up very quick, and they give the hair a smooth soft curl. I have thick coarse color treated hair and they really curl the hair. Glad I bought them.

I am so dissapointed with this product. First of all, there is nothing that shows you when the curlers are all ready and heated. so i waited a half hour and put them in. they werent even hot enough then. they stunk up my whole house too. also, when i put them in for 10 minutes to get tight curls my hair was barely waved at all. this is the worst thing i have used on my hair.

I purchased a Baby Bliss about 9 months ago.....worked pretty good, even though it takes leaving the curlers in fine straight hair a lot longer to get a good firm curl....Then a very scary thing happened. I hooked the curler set up and left it on for a few hours on Thanksgiving Day inadvertantly, and it MELTED ALL the curlers in the set!!! Had I not found it in time, it might have set my house on fire......so BE AWARE!...DON"T leave them ON longer than it takes to set your hair!!!

I bought these curlers after reading the reviews and I am so happy I did. I have very thick, wavy and frizz prone hair that is difficult to style. These curlers gave great body and beautiful curls. They really smoothed out my hair and surprisingly lasted all day. I would hightly recommend them.

I had purchased the small travel pack before but there were not enough rollers for my very thick curly hair. These rollers get hot very quickly, I love the velvet type curler, it doesn't poke into my head. It comes with both the typical metal clip that I cannot use very well and the fantastic plastic butterfly clips that hold every hair in place. These Jumbo curlers straighten my curly-frizzy hair into big beautiful soft curls, I get tons of compliments when I use them.

The metal clips that hold the rollers get very hot when the rollers are heating, so the compartment that holds the clips is not insulated sufficiently, and your fingers feel the burn.
Also the metal holders are ineffective with gripping long, fine hair.
This 12 roller set looks like it was meant for 12 large rollers, and then the manufacturer made the decision to replace 6 large rollers with 6 medium rollers, and the 6 medium fit awkwardly in the case.

Surprisingly, these curlers work very well for thicker hair. I have curly unrelaxed hair that I normally flat iron and then curl a bit with a electric iron, on the rare occasion I need it. To wear my hair up in a smooth style - I usu need more body, and these does the trick. The Babyliss heat up nicely and does not tear out the hair when removing the curlers.

The clips and hair pins hold the rollers in place very well. The appliance heats up quickly and the rollers can be handled without burning your fingers. My hair looked super shiny and luxurious when I was done. My daughter loved them too.

These are really effective curlers. They heat up faster than any other hot rollers I've tried. The velour-type coating hold hair in place and they are very easy to roll. They are fairly large, so they should be used if you want body and just a big of curl. I am extremely happy with them.
