I got this straightener for Christmas from Santa. It works ok.. but pulls my hair out. HELP! It hurts! I'd get a rusk one.. money better spent.

The babyliss heats up in fair amounts of time and it gets wonderfully hot but I have to say there is one major problem!! IT PULLS MY HAIR OUT! I'm a guy wit a couple inches of hair on my head and i flat iron for cool designs, and it works and all, but the blades are not perfectly smooth. There are gaps in the blade and my hair gets caught on it all the time. Not to mention, the felt covering smells like it's burning or something. And it gets really hot/warm on those felt part. bleh
back to normal in 5 minutes

CRAP! is all i can say! have to go over the hair loads of times then it looks good.... but by the time i go from home to work my hair is back how it started all bent! these do not have lasting affects and are rubbish, a waste of money, u get what u pay for so buy ghd!
Should've kept the warranty!

After my stylist straightened my very fine, ultra curly hair with this straightner i was hooked. So i bought one for $90, it was great in the beginning.... My hair is very difficult to get straight especially since it is so fine but it did the job. I noticed after a couple of months i wasn't getting the same affect and recently (after i became dependant) it crapped out on me. After only 7 months of use!!! I would have sent it back to the manufactures but i can't find the warranty ;( I won't recommend this anyone who doesn't have lots of money and time to spend on replacing this product after 7 months. I'm going to try the Sedu now, hopefully it will survive. I'll keep you posted.

ok well i got BaByliss ceramic hair straightener for christmas a year ago because none of those conair or revlon ones worked on my EXTREMELY THICK wavy curly, frizzy hair lol, i found that it does work well , but i found it to b a little small for all of my hair, and i would have to put it on the highest setting. Although it got my har straight, it would always end up starting to wave as soon as i took the iron off my hair, it is WONDERFUL for bangs and little close to the scalp sections of hair, but not for over all use for most of the days outta the week, but if u have thinner curly hair , this is the one for u!

heres my story: This was my very 1st straightener, but after 5 months it stopped working! i sent it back and they sent me a new one n all, but my stepmom bought me a chi, which hasn't failed yet, and kept this one. It still works, but she uses it very rarely to get her hair style just right, cuz she has stright hair. I dunno, buy it and see how u like it, cuz i sure don't care for it!

The iron works great for about 2 months and then stops completely. We replaced it three times until we finally got a different (and cheaper) brand that has not yet failed!!

Ive owned three of these hair straighteners and they have all burnt out on me, every 2 months I had to exchange it. I eventally up graded to a better one but thank god for warranties.

I love this product! I wish I had one years ago. One thing I love about this flat iron is it straightens my hair just the way I like it. I have told several of my friends about it, especially the ones with hair texture like myself. This flat iron is great to use if you are trying to grow your hair out from having a perm. Also it is very sturdy! I am very clumsy and haven't had any problems yet!

My first flat iron. Loved it for about 3 weeks. And then it wasn't working so well. I thought my hair was just super dry because I would need to go over the same area several times before it would look straight. 2 months later, I was still doing the same thing, but now my hair doesn't even go straight!! I had to return it after 2 months. I'm glad there's a warranty to this! Exchanged it for another brand. Will see how that goes...

I love my flat iron!! Because it is so small it is able to get all the way to the scalp. I have a perm gone bad and so I straighten my hair alot. My flatiron makes my hair smooth amd shiny.

My hair is very thick and curly and I have always wanted a straightner that would do the job quick and easy and have profesional results. The first straighner that i bought was from conair and it was garbage. I decided to pay a little more and bought a Vidal Sasson straighner. I was really impressed with the results but it did take a long time. My mom and dad where always telling me that I spent too long straightening my hair so one day out of the blue they bought me a BaByliss Ceramic Hair Straightener that their friend had rcomended. I tryed it out and I was amazed with it. It took less than a minute to heat up and it kept the temperature they whole time. I love my new straightner and will never go back to department store brands.

Best straightener i've ever used. i straighten ever day and i absolutely can't leave the house w/o using this striaghtener! This product heats up super fast, gets rid of puffyness and the most extreme frizz. It's all in the tecnique as i like to say. best results if u straighten in "layers" and 1" sections at a time. i experienced plate discoloration after a few months but it still works great
loved it while it worked!!

I have very thick curly hair. I absolutely loved this iron and couldn't believe what it could do for my hair. However, it just quit working after 4 months and I threw the warranty away.

BaByliss makes really poor quality products, nothing I ever got from them was worth the money... from 20 bucks to 100 bucks .. nothing!
