After you fill the container with liquid (soap etc) for the very first time, the liquid will not come out until you let it cycle for a few times (put your hand in and out under the unit a few times). The reason being that the tube inside the brand new unit is empty, it needs a few cycles to fill it up before it dispensesd normally.
