This protein conditioner is excellent, and I would recommended using some type of moisturizing conditioner with it. But I'd stay away from Aphogees's "balancing moisturizer" as it is very drying. Your ends will feel like straw.

If you do NOT follow these directions, you will break your hair......
1. Apply in sections, quickly 2. Do NOT bother your hair once Aphogee begins to dry 3. Sit under dry and do NOT move hair 4. Rinse THOROUGHLY. Let the WATER soften hair do NOT agitate hardened hair. AGAIN, RINSE THOROUGHLY 5. Follow with a moisterizer. Very important !

I prefer what I call the layered application method. I part my hair, smooth some Aphogee onto it, comb it, section another portion, smooth it on and comb through and repeat until complete. I start from the nape of the neck to the front. I feel that I've been thorough in my application of the product when I do it that way. I don't get wet spots near the scalp whereas the outer application is ready to be rinsed out. Also, I read a review on this site where someone said they shampoo it out. You aren't supposed to do that. Just rinse and apply the moisture cream for a few minutes and you're done. I like to apply jojoba oil on my scalp after the moisturizer is rinsed out, comb it through and sit under the dryer for a few minutes. I'm just using this site as a way to say more about this product. I really can't say enough. My hair is amazing to me due to this product!
