I noticed shedding and breakage in my daughter's hair. It had been relaxed before and I regret it. However, I stated using the entire ahpogee product line and I have seen less shedding and thicker hair. I believe she will gain her length back. I have been using the product for about 4 months and her hair is very manageable and soft even after washing. We keep checking the comb for hair loss and there is so little to none there. I will continue to use the entire product line. Please use as directed and be sure to use the mositurizing balancer after every treatment !

Well, I must say that I am pleased with my results. I just finished my hair using the treatment fot damaged hair. Already I can tell that my hair feels so much stronger. It appears to be so much thicker!!!!!! But I gotta tell ya...the smell is terrible but the results so far are wonderful. I guess I will take the good along with the bad. I can't wait to see how it looks in about 6 weeks when it will be time for another treatment!

I'm starting to think the previous reviews were written by the sales people.
This product is horrible. My hair was healthy beyond belief, I used this stuff once and it made all my hair break off. My scalp itched like crazy and the whole experience has opened my eyes to what a terrible product this is, unfortunately I also remembered that any time I used this stuff in the past -- my hair looked exactly the way it does now. I never made to connection before --but trust me. Do not use this stuff on your hair straight from the bottle. Add maybe an ounce or two to a CREAM CONDITIONER and use it that way.
I changed my routine once because I was going to dye my hair -- and now I have to wait another year until my hair rethickens and grows back. Truly disheartening.

I was skeptical about this until I tried it. WOW is all I can say. It REALLY does repair your hair, what a difference after the first time. I dye my hair every six week a light blonde and have been frustrated about conditioners that just don't help with the breakage I get. I will ABSOLUTELY continue to use this treatment, my hair is in the best condition it has seen since before I started dying it. I suggest you follow the directions to a tee in order for proper results.

I had a treatment of Aphogee in November 04 along with a trim of my ends. As of now 2/05, my hair has grown at least 3 inches and looks as healthy as it did when I was in my tenns (pre-cut/chemicals). There is soooooo little breakage and absolutely no spit ends (It looks as if my hair has been freshly trimmed and treated 4 months after the aphogee). Even though I let my scalp dry out and slept with my hair on cotton pillow cases NO Breakage. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND WILL BE A LIFELONG CUSTOMER!!!

I agree with all of the rave reviews for this product. My hair is chemically relaxed and color treated. Before using Aphogee for Damaged Hair, my hair was rough, dry and dull and unable to grow much past my ears before breaking off. I used the curling iron daily with heat activiated protective products. Even with hair spray, it couldn't hold a style. Since using Aphogee for Damaged Hair, my hair has become soft, smooth and shiny. I don't need to regularly use setting lotions, hair sprays or anything else to set my hair and hold a style. I apply it within a week after a relaxer, immediately afterwards when coloring. Well, before I read that it could be applied before coloring. Within a relatively short period of time (6 months), my hair is now at my shoulder blades! After the first time of using this product, I wondered if I had actually hurt my hair because it was so smooth and not "big" and full appearing, I thought it had thinned out or something. I've since discovered that I just didn't know what healthy African American hair could look like. Now, I'm asked all of the time, who does my hair and what do they use. I think even my stylist is a little jealous and wondering where I am going instead of her. What can I say? I'd rather apply this $10 product in the privacy of my home rather than pay $30 for one application to sit at the front of WalMart's style salon and have it applied. It has made a serious difference for my seriously damaged hair!

This treatment is a miracle! It stops hair breakage and repairs it to the point where your hair will probably look like virgin hair. I was amazed to see very little hair in my comb afterward. Hair looks thicker and in control. Ater blow drying and using my Bion to straighen, I used Silk Therapy as a finishing touch. My hair looks and feels healthy. If your hair is dry, frizzy, and thirsty for repair, this is the product. I have used many products and this is by far the best I found for treatment. This product is inexpensive. Salons in my area charge $40 or more for a treatment like this.

I have just had a baby plus my hair is relaxed AND has been lifted and colored. When I came from the hospital from having my daughter my hair was shedding bad! I used the treatment for damaged hair in addition to the other products (shampoo, conditioner, reconstructor,and balance moisturizer) and my hair stopped shedding!
This stuff works wonders!

Stings the scalp a bit and smells a bit like eggs and vinegar but you will notice increased elasticity and strength immediately. For extremely damaged hair, best used every two weeks for about two months, then every five to six weeks. Must be followed by an intense moisturizing treatment (recommend Aphogee moisturizer or Redken All Soft Heavy Cream with plastic cap and 10 minutes under dryer). A must for relaxed hair.

I tried Aphogeefor the first time a week and a half ago. It's the best conditioning treatment I've ever had. It's not your ordinary conditioner. It minimizes and even stops breakage.It stregnthens and evens makes the hair fuller and did I say stronger? I want to keep using it to maintain healthy and strong hair, and to help the damaged areas that ordinarilly would break. I swear, after the treatment, i had trouble finding the breakage. I had to come through and stare at my hair up close to try to find the breakage.It's that good at fastening the weak areas! The smell is gross though and lingers even when rinsed out, but the results are soooo worth it that I wlll still use it regardless...The results are that good!!

My son's hair was like straw from swimming on swim team almost daily for 5 months...this product worked wonders on his hair...used it on my hair also that was getting so dehydrated from hair dryers, flat irons, etc...both of our hair is baby soft now. Great product!!

Definitely noticed a difference with the texture of my hair. The smell was horrible, smelled like vinegar, but you take the good with the bad. I do plan on buying this again. I think using it consistently will make a big difference.

I had weight loss surgery and experienced hair loss. I used this product and my hair thicker, silker, and more health than before I had my surgery. I am glad that I used this product. I have a friend that had the same surgery and looks like she gets kemo. I am trying to get her to use it. She says that it smells bad, but I say the results are great!!

My hair is starting to shed (thinning) and comes out in my comb. I've tried every product I could find to reverse it. Nothing seemed to work. I found ApHOGEE Treatment for Damaged Hair last year and has sworn by it ever since. The application process for this product is messy but it's worth the hassle. I use it at least twice a month. After each use, my hair gets thicker and it no longer come out in the comb.

My hair was so damaged and I don't know what the reason was. When I had been washing and conditioning my hair every week, it had been coming out in clumps. I was so scared because my hair has came out before and I had alopecia so I thought that it was happening again. I called my beautician and she told me to come in. Due to my weird work schedule, I couldn't make it in there and she was going on vacation for two weeks. I'm thinking, two more whole weeks of my hair coming out like this is going to be bad. She suggested that I get ApHOGEE Treatment for Damaged Hair. I was desperate so I was willing to try anything. I couldn't get over the smell, it was terrible. I tell you this, my hair didn't come out one bit after I used this treatment. I was so glad that she told me to get it. After six weeks, I am going to use it again to keep my hair healthy. My room mate and my mother both told me that it looks so think and full. They also said that it's growing. This product works for real. I bought some DOO GRO Hair Oil and Medicated Oil as well and that helps your hair grow back so fast. Thank God!

This product is absolutely fabulous. I was slightly weary due to the rather sour smell, but it is completely worth it. Immediately after I shampooed it out, i could run my hands through my hair with virtually NO breakage! It felt thicker and strong and had a very healthy shine. My hair has been colored and bleached and chemically straightened many times, yet a few weeks after I used this, I went in to have highlights put in and the stylists were raving about the strong and healthy condition my hair was in. It is actually as amazing as it proclaims to be, if not more!

ater giving birth to my first child my hair grew long and thick for the first time in my life. wanting to show off my newly aquired hair gain i went and relaxed my hair with a curly perm only 2 months after having had a straight perm, what a nightmare. my hair was falling out in clumps every time i tried combing it , i was so depressed about it. i didn't even want to comb it anymore so i wore a scarf all the time to hide my badly damaged now so short hair. i dicided to try extentions and that only made it worst because they were pulling out my hair. my hair was the lenght of my pinky finger in the back and half of that in the middle and even less in the front. then i remembered hearing about aphogee from a friend , i couldn't afford to buy the full line af products at the time but i said if i didn't do something fast i would be bald in a month . so i bought the hair treatment, the shampoo, the balance moisturizer, leave-in treatment ,and also the restructerizer. that was the day i saved my dignity and self esteem. i've had four treatments and my hair is looking the healthiest it ever has in my entire life {literally}. now i am not ashamed to show my hair , i don't wear scarfs anymore and i'm happy. i recomend aphogee products all the time to my friends.aphoggee products is the savior for the world of extremly damaged hair!

I just want to let everyone know that this product is worth every penny. I noticed a change in my hair right after the first treatment. My hair had alot of breakage and split ends. Know its really healty and as a natural sheen with lots of body. These are things I have been searching for in many products now with just my second treatment Iam so satisified with the results I cant wait to see what happens in the future.

If you want to eliminate hair breakage, and you want to grow your hair long, this is the product for you. I use this product one week before my relaxer, so that my hair is strong and can withstand the chemicals and as soon as my relaxer is taken out. It has an odor i will warn but it is worth the smell. Your hair feels stronger after the very first use. It really helps heal your hiar with it's added proteins. i swear by this product. Before using this product i had so much breakage. After using it and combing my hair, hardly any hair came out. Now my hair is longer and stronger because there is less breakage.
