Yes, this is the best time to use the product. My hair stylist uses this treatment right after perming and then again 2 weeks later. When you use the product at home, all you have to do is put the product in and sit under a dryer medium heat for 5-15 minutes wash out and use a moisterizing conditioner for 5-10 minutes. and style as usual. I have not had any breakage in the last 3 months.
This product is great. | HAIR BREAKING AND THINNING BAD
WILL APHOGEE WORK FOR THINNING HAIR. MY HAIR IS THINNING AND BREAKING. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS TOUCH MY HAIR AND IT JUST SNAPS RIGHT OFF. A FRIEND OF MY RECOMMENDS THIS PRODUCT LINE. I dont think leaving weave in your hair is advisable. Perhaps taking it out then reapplying after the treatment would be better. This stuff is really great. I was loosing balles of hair thru out the day. After applying aphogee damaged hair treatment and the aphogee moisturizing conditioner not one single strand came out on my hands or in the comb. Im almost tempted to do this more then recommended because of the severity of damage I have, however the bottle recommends using every 4-6 weeks. So i guess there goes my weekly treatments. Good luck to all that use this. Its a sure fire product for breakage and has been for decades | bleaching and aphogee
I have been reading the reviews for this product line and I'm very interested. At the moment my hair is very dry and brittle from color, straightening, etc. Would my hair be healthy enough to bleach back to its original color (dark brown to light brown) after using these products? And if so, how long would I have to wait? Question posted by Jess Tue Oct 04 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by Carmen

you dont have to wait long it can be before or after a coloring just follow the directions on the bottle, what i do suggest is waiting 24 hrs if you had your hair chemicaly relaxed for it will burn just a bit. | Can I purchase this product in stores?

I find this product at Sallys. However, you must/should also buy the moisturizer balancer made by aphogee also. It should be used after every treatment. You should not substitute this item. I use the entire product line with great results. | i want to know how often do i put a aphogee treatment in my hair

You should use the treatment once every 4 to 6 weeks. I think it says that on the back of the bottle. However, I use it once every six weeks. | Continuous breakage
I have relaxed hair that is over 15 inches in length. For the past six months it has been continuously breaking. I have tried everything. The breakage appears to be about 2 inches from the root. Can this Aphogee treatment work for this condition and restore my hair back to the fullness it once had. Question posted by Natasha from London Fri Jul 08 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by Michele

Yes this product does put strength back into relaxed hair however you must use the balancer mosturizer. The treatment last for six weeks. Also the 2 minute reconstructor will help. I have been transitioning my daughter's hair for a little over a yr and since using the entire product line, I have noticed little to no breakage. |
