Not better than Department store brands

I purchased this about a year ago hoping to get a little more durability than the average brand. It did a nice job getting my hair dry but after about a year it shorted out and started getting hot just like the $20.00 brands at Wal-Mart. Definately efficient and nice for the time that I was using it but for the price did not last long.

I've only ever had drugstore brand hairdryers. I have medium to long hair and this dryer got my hair dry in less than 5 minutes. It takes a little longer if i use the attachments, but they really help when it's time to use the flat iron. The dryer is a bit heavy and loud, but i don't have to hold or listen to it for very long. :) As of right now, I'm really happy with this dryer.
