Works well, nice if you're looking for scents out of the ordinary. I love this shaving cream it's nothing like regular old shaving creams, it's better. I love how soft it is and how soft it leaves my body. The best part NO razor bumps!!! Very worth the money!! And long lasting. I totally recommend. My husband and I use the Trader Joe's Mango "Shave" and they have been out of stock for while. I finally asked what happened they told me that it was pulled from the shelf for some reason..??? So I found the Alba online and was quite dissappointed to find that it wasn't as rich and spread differently than the Trader Joe's brand. I seemed to be using more and it didn't "stick" as well. My husband has no complaints but is not a heavy shaver. We both definately prefer shave creams of this type over foam or gel types. I am seeing other major brands come out with similar products geared towards men and none for women yet.The whole point of this type of shave product is to only have to use very little... a thin film. I feel like I have to use much more with the Alba product. Oh well... until Trader Joe's re-stocks or brings back their version, this one will have to do. This is the best shave cream I have found. It's not expensive, but it feels like it. I found this product and the website by searching for Trader Joe's Honey Mango Cream Shave on Google. I had used it recently and it to be the best I've ever used. Unfortunately Trader Joes was out of stock and I had to find an alternative. The hair on my face is quite coarse and the hair on my neck grows in several directions which means I have to make multiple passes with the razor to get a clean shave. Using canned shave cream or gel did not work very well and left me with cuts and serious razor burn. I purchased both the Mango Vanilla and the Coconut Lime. Other reviewers have said the Trader Joe's product is a Knockoff of the Alba. In packaging they are very similar but the ingredient list is almost completely different. The Trader Joe's product contains glycerin which makes it quite slick and during the shave you can add a little water and make it even slicker. The Alba products do not contain glycerin and, to my disappointment, were not that slick at all. Also the Alba products both contain menthol which I do not like...even crappy canned shave cream is kind enough to let you know there is menthol in it. The coconut Lime has more menthol than the mango vanilla however. Overall this product is good and not great. Read all 9 customer reviews ...
