I bought this tool last week and what I was looking for was a tool that when I straightened my thick curly hair it would somewhat tame my ends so that I didn't look like I had a wig on. What a find! This works great for gals that have super thick hair like me and your looking to liven up your ends. It is very easy to use and gets really hot. Love it

I wasn't able to find a 2" iron in stores anywhere, so as soon as I looked online I found this site. I just have to say that I am extremely thrilled with this product! I have owned Hot Tools products before and knew this would be a great buy. I know I haven't even used it to it's full capacity yet but am very impressed with it---it gets REALLY hot, which is necessary if you have thick, wavy hair like mine. It doesn't tangle your hair and has a really strong spring so it gets a great grip. For flipping hair up it gives great smooth waves and it gives great volume from the root (especially for shaping bangs). Curling under is really easy, and you get great volume as your hair is smoothed out. And this price can't be beat---believe me, I looked everywhere! I am sure that for anyone hair from fine and straight to thick, coarse or wavy, you will be happy with this product. I am most impressed with the fact that since I changed from my old iron to this one, I have used less hairspray to hold my style (or none at all) because it stays all day!!! And my hair (especially on the ends) is soooo much softer. It used to feel dry on the ends after using a curling iron on it, but now its soft and bouncy, which is new to me. I am thrilled with this curling iron and know you will be too!! Enjoy!!!

Wow! What a great tool for the price! I have a tough time making my hair look smooth since my hair is pretty thick and wavy. I've tried flat irons from the $40 range to $175 range -- but they just fried my ends. I wanted something to give me body, but at the same time, make my hair look shiny. The 2" size curling iron does exactly that. It doesn't add curl, just smooths out my hair while adding a natural flip on the ends. I was concerned that it wouldn't work as good as a ceramic curling iron -- but it did. I would definitely recommend this iron to anyone who doesn't like the results they get with a flat iron!
I was glad to find a curling iron this size.

I purchased the 2 inch hot tools curling iron from Folica.com. I has searched for several years to find a curling iron larger than 1 1/2 inch barrel. I was pleased to find this item online. It smooths my wavy hair and provides me with a nice flip on the ends. A caution to the user-the barrel does get extremely hot.

I purchased this curling iron recommended to me by my hairdresser, love the volume it gives me, i have wavy hair, so straightening it with a brush takes forever and i never do a great job. With this curling iron, i just blow dry quick and finish off with this iron, what a nice polished look! I highly recommend it!

I did not like this curling iron at all! I bought it because it got such good reviews but it doesn't curl at all on straight hair. I wouldn't even give this product a star if I could.

I could not find this item in local stores so was relieved to find it so easily on the web. Delivery was super fast and I love the way my hair looks. I constantly get compliments on these fat curls. Wide range of heat settings (my hair is thin so that was important), electric cord swivels for easier maneuvering, wide clamp for easy use, no yucky crimping on the ends. I have highly recommended this to my friends.

I love this curling Iron!!!!
I use it everyday and it always has the perfect head due to the temp. controls, and it's super easy to use.
It even works well on coarse/kinky African American hair.
It also looks really good!

This iron gets hot and I find that when trying to wrap my hair around it, it burns my hands. It is hard to wrap hair and go to the sections you want to curl without accidentally or purposely coming in contact with the hot barrel. There are many heat levels on the iron but I found that it would not curl my hair on lower heat levels. Additionally, I feel that it burns my hair and I don't want to damage my hair. All in all, I am not happy with the performance of this curling iron. But I was impressed by the quickness of the delivery (in two days!).

I think that the 2" barrel has helped my hair styling 100% I recommend that anyone with medium to long hair should own one!!

I never even had the opportunity to plug this iron in. As soon as I touched it the spring popped out and I couldn't put it back in. I returned the iron and didn't feel confident enough with the product to by another one. Better luck next time.

I have thick, coarse medium-long length hair. I have had my hair professionally straightened & love the texture now. My hair is more managable, softer & dries in half the time.
I flat iron my hair after it's dried & then use the 2" curling iron as the finishing touch. The curling iron produces a slight curl on the ends for a great look.
I would recommend this product.

I'd have to say it is quite large a bit hard to handle but if you can manage that, you will get amazing results. My hair was fuller and had more body, not to mention the curls lasted all night! All in all this is a definite purchase for those who want big full waves.

I LOVE!!!!!! THIS CURLING IRON - I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A 2 INCH CURLING IRON FOR YEARS. THIS IS JUST AS GOOD I A FLAT IRON BUT GIVES YOU A LITTLE CURL AT THE HAIRS END SO IT WONT LOOK RAGGED.
