Pretty Big Tool 4 'Lil Hands, but what a product! and Site!

I expected that this tool might be a tad difficult to maneuver, due to it's size relative to my hand-size, and I was right. However, the effects it imparts to my "do" is worth the effort. With my new 2" hot iron I use a 3-and-a-half-inch round "Prego" ceramic brush (also from this site). Between those two items and my Ion blow drier I achieve a natural-but-tamed texture without drying-and-frying damage. The price was unbeatable (and I'm a member at our local licensed-only beauty suppliers), and I received them in record time and in mint condition. Folica is a fabulous site and I'll be checking here first when something new hits the market and when I need to replace what I already have!

I purchased this curling iron several months ago. It is by far the best iron ever! Heats up quickly and really does a great job.
Great for wavy hair!

I love this curling iron.. I have impossible wavy hair that is so thick and curly in the back! I have tried a few straightening irons but they just make my hair way too flat. Enter this wonderful tool..keeps the body in your hair but straightens out the curl so you have volume with polished looking hair! Love it!!
total waste of money

I was so upset with this product. It doesn't even close all the way. It doesn't get hot at all. You can touch it with your hand and not get burned. I had two of these before over the years and loved them so I didn't save the box~thinking I'd have no problems with it. Total waste of money.

I was highly disappointed with this product, it doesn't heat up enough to curl.

I was surprised at how well this curling iron worked! I've had quite a few and had almost given up. It takes me no time now to curl my hair. It heats up very quickly and doesn't pull or burn my hair. It is very easy to use and Yes, it gets very hot! My style holds all day, even without hair spray! I am extremely happy and most definitely glad I bought this iron. Thank you!

I've been using this iron for over 2 and a half years and it's great!! I have medium length hair and I used this to substitute brush-blowouts. If you have longer hair, you might get slight curl, but if you want lots of curl you need to buy a smaller one. I don't think this is so much intended for curling as it is for volume and the effect of a round brush without the hassle. One thing that would be great, however, is if it had an auto shutoff feature. This iron gets hot and stays hot...you need to remember to shut off, but other than that it has even heat and stays clean and shiny (some irons can get gucky over time...but not this one). Would highly recommend!

Very happy with this 1 inch Hot Tools curling iron. I like the adjustable heat setting and the durability. I also have the 3/4 inch barrel and keep two of each on hand as back up.
GREAT

I love this thing. I read the reviews and was not sure if I'd like it. I use it as a straightner and it looks like I had it professioanly blow dried. The love how if give it a slight wave either in or out depending on how I use it. I love this curling iron...it is a bot heavy and I wish they had the ceramic version but this will do for now. :)

I found the product to be too big all around. It's too big for me to handle. And the big curls do not stay in as well as I hoped. I probably would have done better with one size smaller.

I have tried so many curling irons and this is the best. I'm going to order another one in a smaller size for curls around my face.

This iron quit haeting up within a week of it's first use. When it works, it's great, but now I am stuck without a styling tool. There has to be better ones out there.

At first I didn't think it curled well, but then I realized that I need to let it heat up for about 15 minutes and it's fine! The curls stay in all day too!

eww. i ordered this iron, and when it arrived i just had to try it out, but when i did i was sooo disapointed. It took like 10 minutes to heat up, and the curls fell out in 20 minutes. I do not reccommend this to anyone. Its a piece of crap. I spent my babysitting money on this, and i was super disapointed.
