This product is wonderful. I am 34 and have been battling with acne since my teen years. I have tried numerous skin-care lines from Nordstroms and also tried Proactiv and did not get the results that ACNE 101 has given me. It states it's a "lotion" in the description but it's more like a toner, I need to use moisturizer afterwards but it keeps my skin clear. I use it twice daily and I even wear make up over it during the day. It's also amazing how quickly it calms any red/irritated areas. Great product!

After trying every kind of treatment for years and years... and spending a few thousand $ a year at the dermatologist... I finally tried this stuff. I was really skeptical at first, my skin is the worst ever. Everything makes it break out and most treatments/medications make it worse instead of better. After tring 101e for month I am totally convinced that it works. My great skin (that I thought I'd never have) is proof enough!!!
I think people trying 101e should give it at least a month as long as their not having an allergic reaction or something like that. Some people just take longer to adjust and show results, like me. I was starting to think that it might not work since I had been using it for a week or two and still was breaking out, though it did heal fast. Soon after being patient another week it all cleared up and anything I do get starts to go away before it even shows on my skin!!! Cystic acne is very painful even before it shows up all swollen on your skin and this stuff is the best for healing it.
I wish I had found this stuff years ago. I don't even want to think of all the damage that the other medications have done to me. Time to move on and heal I guess. The only other advice I have is that you should use a gentle cleansing exfoliator on your skin (like Neutrogena) to get rid of dead skin cells and help the 101e sink into your skin better. The moisturizing cleansers tend to clog up pores especially in acne prone skin. Also, be consistent with the three times a day application and apply with clean fingers to make it last longer and absorb better on your face where it should be rather than most of it on a cotton swab.
The smell is great if you like herbal smells and after using it a while you really don't even notice it anymore. Good luck with your 101e!!!

I purchased this product with high hopes and was kind of dissappointed. It certainly didn't hurt my skin situation, but this product is by no means a miracle salve. I have oily skin and live in a humid area, I noticed that while there were less white heads on my face I was experienceing more black heads than ever before. That could be attributed to the humidity, but I've never had blackheads on my face before and now i notice them all the time. I think any over the counter remedy would work just as well as this product.

I have tried products for years and noticed a marked increase in breakouts in the past 3 years. This can be quite frusrating when you are in your 30s and still breaking out. The first time I used this product my face felt quite greasy. I noticed an amazing improvement within 2 days. I have tried prescription, Proactiv, and many other products but this was the first product I felt truly lived up to its claims. I recommend it highly.

I had been getting painful, inflamed cysts and folliculitis for several years, and no products I tried really helped. Antibiotics only helped temporarily, but the problem always returned. After doing some research online, I came across 101e and decided to give it a try. It was the best decision I could have made! It has helped to slowly heal and decrease the size of the cysts that I had. And after nearly two years of getting new cysts basically every week, I've used it for about three weeks now, and there have been NO NEW BREAKOUTS!! This stuff is well worth the price, and has been really the only product with which I have seen noticeable results. As other people have said, the smell is a little odd at first, but will quickly grow on you. I highly recommend anyone who has had similar problems and been unable to find help to try 101e acne getaway!

I have suffered from acne for about 10 years (since I was 18) and found that the effectiveness of antibiotics lessened over the years as my body became acustomed to them. After yet another course of anibiotics (sigh) from my dermatologist in London (with absolutely no success) I decided to see a doctor of Traditional Chineses Medicine. Straight away I felt quite sure that I had come to the right place. He took my pulse on both wrists and checked the condition of my tongue before perscribing herbal teas to drink, sulfur soap to wash the affected areas and 2 lotions - one for my face and one for my chest and back (101E).
Within a week I couldn't believe the improvement and could look people in the eye confidently again. Now after 7 weeks I am writing this in the hope that you will read this and enjoy the results I have experienced.
If you are suffering from acne please do yourself a favour and see a TCM doctor. The beauty of this method of treatment is that instead of attacking the symptoms with antibiotics, they redress the horonal imbalances within your body and remove the toxins that lurk within. 101E has helped me but from my experience, you get optimal results if 101E is combined with drinking the herbal tea & washing with the sulfur soap. I have been using Acne Getaway for about 4 days now, having had it up to here with my doctor trying me on different antibiotics, etc. I have noticed already that i am no longer getting new spots, and that it has stopped the ones I had forming 4 days ago in their tracks. It does smell a bit, and I will have to apologise to my boyfriend, but it's very easy to use. I was advised to use a cotton bud to apply only on affected spots. My Chinese herbalist also gave me these herbal tablets to take to treat me from inside. So I'm covering all angles. Ask your herbalist about "damp-heat", that's what both they, and my accupunturist friend call the problem within our bodies which causes acne. It's also mentioned in the hysterical translation inside the Acne Getaway box. Well worth the £20 i paid for it. Nothing else was helping me.
Acne Getaway is an extremely worthwhile product

I have always suffered from mild acne since I was about 14 and after years of trying prescription antibiotics and lotions, Acne Getaway has definately had the best results and has really boosted my confidence as now my skin is smooth and acne free. I am now even confident to go out without makeup on as my skin has improved so dramatically. The smell is a little potent but you soon get used to it. I would definately encourage anybody suffering from acne to buy Acne Getaway.

i bought a bottle of 101E last monday and started to use it right away. i guess it's soon to tell if it's a good or a bad product, but my skin is getting worse...the redness got worse as well as the blackheads, they're getting bigger. i'll try it a few more days, but i think it's a waste of money.

this product did not help me. it seemed to make my skin break out more. after a week i quit using it and reverted to using benzol peroxide--not perfect but better than acne getaway.

For me this stuff is amazing. In the first week there was a massive reduction in redness, and now at the end of the second week, all the old scars are practically gone, my skin is a lot smoother, and if there is another outbreak, it quickly dies down. Yes, the smell is a bit strange at first, but after a few days I was completely used to it, and now I even like it. It's very easy to apply, being like water, and unlike other creams you don't have to stand around for ten minutes getting it all rubbed in - it more or less dries immediately, but still manages to leave skin hydrated.
Proactive made my skin worse. BUT, Acne Getaway made my skin better!!

I had always had beautiful and very clear skin, but was under a lot of pressure and my skin started to break out in a major way on me in my 40's in January 2000. I tried Proactive, and although it MAY work for others, it DIDN'T work for me at ALL-- it actually made my skin WORSE and gave me MORE skin irritation and actually changed the texture of my skin in a negative way and this really devastated me. I was depressed, but kept looking for other products and spent MORE money on things that still didn't work for me. But late one night, I came across Acne Getaway on the Internet and decided to order it since I was desperate for a cure and when it arrived it started to work INSTANTLY and I have been using it ever since May 19, 2001. My skin is once again flawless, clear and beautiful--even the texture of my skin is better than before--and even though I am still under a lot of pressure, it does NOT show up on my face (smile). All I do is cleanse my face, apply the Acne Getaway, let dry then I moisturize--quick and easy, and might I add very inexpensive IF I do say so myself!!
Thank GOD I found Acne Getaway. I will never use anything else on my face again. But then again, I won't have to since Acne Getaway REALLY works and keeps my skin acne free, soft, RADIANT very smooth and BEAUTIFUL!!
I LOVE Acne Getaway!! It really helped me out at a time when I really needed help for my horrible acne and skin problems.

I have a similar story to most of the other reviewers on these pages and can honestly say that nothing had worked for me in the slightest until I discovered 101E at my local Chinese Herbalist, not even the perscribed medicines from my Doctor. The main reason for me writing this review however is to say that it can often be quite expensive until I recently discovered that 101E can be found on a certain famous interent auction site at a more than resonable price. I hope that helps new and old users of 101E alike.

Real person here who has also had fairly minor acne, and clogged pores since middle school. Like everyone else, i've tried a lot of products. Most recently I was using the Murad skin care line (similar to Pro Active) and that stuff made my face worse! Frustrated, I found 101E and decided to try it. I am so glad i did. This is no "miracle" product but it does work progressively. I use cotton rounds to apply and that's it! So easy and so effective. No scary smells either. I just wish it came in larger amounts or was a bit cheaper. Just buy a bottle and give it a try and i think you too will be pleasantly surprised!

I will share my opinion about 101E. I wanted a product to get rid of blackheads and clogged pores, not the traditional swollen acne. (I had pimples in my teenage years, but I haven't really had any in the past few years.) My main problem (and a serious problem at that) is clogged pores and blackheads -- very ugly and very annoying, even though not red, painful and swollen like a pipmle. After using this product for two weeks, my skin has gotten smoother and clearer. The blackheads are there still, they are not completely gone, but they seem to have slowed in forming. My skin has always been oily, and this product did not make it less oily at all, it's still as oily as ever. However, it seems like my skin is oily now because the oil passes through the pores without getting clogged in them. So I'm not upset about that. I would definitely say that my skin has improved in quality -- it is vibrant and a lot healthier than before. This product has a rather PLEASANT herbal smell, not at all unpleasant or strong like some people have said. Please, don't be afraid -- it does not smell bad at all. Since this product comes as a liquid in a bottle, with the consistency of water, it's a little tricky to use. You have to pour a little on your palms and apply to your face quickly because it gets absorbed and evaporates. I have to say that the bottle does not last long at all, even if you use it two times a day instead of three. I've been using it for about two weeks and I've already used up most of it. So buy two or three bottles so you can use it longer and see the results. I like the fact that it's all natural and herbal. And by the way, once you apply it, the interesting thing is that you don't have to use anything else -- you can survive on this stuff alone. Meaning, it does not dry your skin AT ALL and you don't have to put on moisturizer or anything afterwards. You can put on a little makeup if you have to, but if you have o.k. skin, you can just use 101E and be done with your beauty routine for the day -- no other products involved. I don't know how it works on swollen painful pimples, but I definitely give a good rating to this product.

this is the BIGGEST scam ever. After reading all those wonderful, raving reviews about this product, I thought it would give me hope. TURNS out after 4 days of use my ENTIRE FACE broke out worse than I've ever had it. I BROKE out even in places that've never broken out before. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED...to point where i gonna dump this solution down the drain for all its worth. I wish I could've rated this product -5 stars. Thanks Acne 101E...for making my skin beautifully BROKEN OUT.

Hi.
I am almost 25 years old guy from Poland. I have been using dozens of medicines to remove the acne from my face for many years. None of them worked as I expected (including antibiotics). 3 Weeks ago I have found this page with these 'Customer reviews'. It made me eager to try. Luckily the price of 101e in Poland is much lower. I am using it for about 2 weeks. It is really great !!! I hope it will remove everything in some weeks. Important thing is that 101e doesn't make any irritation on my skin :). I can use it three time a day without any problem. Some of you guys wrote that 101e is stinky. Not so bad for me ;) I can bear it :P I wish you have results at least as good as mine :)

Im 25 and since I was 14 I have had spots. Mainly blocked pores and small lumps over my forehead, nose and cheekbones, and generally really oily skin. I have tried everything, clearil, oxy, witch hazel, pills and all kinds of lotions, steaming and using face masks, and even 6 months of microdermabration but the results only ever lasted a few weeks at best, plus when I think how much I must have spent over the years is kinda scary. Anyway, I have been using Acne 101E for about 6 months now. I got it from a local chinese herbalist and the first two weeks alone saw most of my spots clear up, and about 6 weeks later I didn't have a single spot. I basically wash my face with warm water only, and apply the lotion twice a day, and if I do get the odd spot i just message an extra drop of 101E into it and if i leave it alone it will be on the way out a few hours later.
Really really good stuff.
Finally relief!!!!

I am a 33 yr old mother of two who has suffered with acne since my teens. In my twenties my acne did get better and by the time I was 30, I thought I outgrew it. Then one day, literally one day I woke up with cysts on my neck. It started out with one here and there, painful, red, deep bumps. This lasted for about a year. I am sure it is hormonal in nature, and I tried everything. Birth control pills, Murad, Proactive.....any cream I could buy. I will tell you that I have spent so much money in my young years on finding something that works. Well, I stumbled on this site somehow, and found 101 E Acne. What the heck......I tried everything else, why not try this?
It has been three weeks today, and after the first week, I have not had one more breakout. I swear to you I cannot believe it. It took one solid week to see any results but I just kept using it. My scars are healing day by day and I do not wake up anymore with a new spot. This neck acne was starting to wreak havoc on my self esteem so badly. I even stopped wanting to go out with my husband on our weekly "dates" and I really did not even want to leave the house. This stuff is a miracle in a bottle and I will never be without it. If my children develop acne this is what they will use. I use it on my face too and it makes it so healthy looking and soft. Try it. This product is simply amazing. I am 16 years old and have been using it for over a year now. I had the worst acne ever, covering my entire face. The dermatologist told me i had to use Accutane which also came with a list of side effects down to the floor. I declined and searched for a "natural" method. I found this product and i am proud to say i do not have a single pimple on my whole face. My acne did not scar like the dermatologist told me it would. I can really say Acne Getaway is a miracle product for acne.
